What do we have going on here. End of January, the week leading up to the Super Bowl, people all abuzz about the Grammy’s for the appropriate 24 hours. Pretty exciting stuff.
The State of the Union’s tonight? Anybody really looking forward to that? I just checked real quick and it’s on the back page of Yahoo’s slidy news thing, for whatever that’s worth. Who’s everyone picking for that? I want to say Seattle but I’m feeling one of those like 27-24 games, maybe a 35-33 if things get a little raunchy, I’m just not sure who it’s in favor of. I’ll come back with a definite pick for Friday’s post, if anyone cares about the Super Bowl pick of a random comedy blogger dude. I’ll try to remember for those of you shaking with anticipation.
Oh yeah, make sure if you have a bar or ever go to a bar that it takes credit cards. The great thing about credit cards for the owner is that dumb kids will start tabs and continue drinking through the rounds and inevitably end up spending more than they would have if you only accepted cash, which is most obviously limited by the amount in their pockets. It’s good for the patron because then they can open a tab and continue drinking through the rounds and inevitably end up spending more than they would have if the place only accepted cash. Wait, oh yeah it’s good because you don’t have to be relegated to that one drink because you never carry cash or decide you want to be raped by the ATM with a four dollar fee.
So yeah, credit cards are good, mmkay?
Unfortunately I gotta go. We’ll have real big one on Friday. And Super Bowl picks. Punch and Pie.
Oh yeah and people are all pissed because Quicksilver in X men: Days of Future Past is going to look like this:
Peace and something
