Male-Induced Slut Shaming

In an article posted by Policymic.com, a girl was kicked out of her senior prom for giving the male chaperones inappropriate thoughts. Yes, the chaperones. Not the male students, but the adult males who volunteered to attend a high school prom to keep an eye on the kids (and keep an eye on the kids they did). The adult males who are significantly older than high school seniors and should be able to keep their porn-based fantasies under control.

Her dress was a bit short for the traditional prom dress, but it followed her school’s dress code being longer than where her fingertips reach on her thigh. She didn’t expose any side-boob or come close to having a nip slip. I can only imagine how many dads would have had to take “bathroom breaks” after that girl walked in. They blamed the girl for dancing too provocatively on the dance floor as well. No, she wasn’t twerking upside down against a wall. She was probably dancing just as provocatively as all the other girls and boys for that matter. Eh, maybe not boys, high school boys focus far too much on just keep time with the music, let alone grinding hardcore.

Understandably, the girl is outraged as she should be. The parents singled her out and forced her and her group of friends to leave their senior prom. What should have been remembered as a wonderful night turned into embarrassment and anger. Those parents should be ashamed of themselves. Let the girl wear what she wants in spite of what it will do to boys and men alike. You don’t see the high school boys complaining about her outfit so the parents sure as hell shouldn’t be saying anything.

Can we get an interview with one of the dad’s that couldn’t handle himself around a 17-year-old? I’d love to hear his side of the story.

“Uh, yeah, so her dress was really short. And I kept imagining what it would look like a few inches shorter. And then I accidentally undressed her in my head. She distracted me from fulfilling my duty as a chaperone, not me. My impure thoughts are completely uncontrollable and immediately ended when the girl in question was removed. None of the other students were wearing inappropriate dresses. They were all wearing floor-length gowns with a high neck to cover their cleavage since they are aware of how easily tempted we adult males are.”

How about an interview from his wife?

“My husband’s a perve. What can I say?”

Girl on girl slut shaming is an ongoing issue that revolves around self-respect vs. freedom of choice. Guy on girl slut shaming is an immature cop-out that forces girls to present themselves as modestly as possible to protect the innocent minds of males everywhere. Let’s get one thing straight, there is no such thing as an innocent male mind. Dirty thoughts soil their minds long before girls become “slutty”. This story is an example of how scared society is of women. I still can’t get over the fact that ADULT MEN sparked this event. Dads, it’s time to control your second head and learn that not every woman dressed in a short skirt is there for your pleasure, especially teenage ones.

Parents, get it together.
